In 2017, during a difficult personal time, I began a journey to rediscover forgotten cricket footage. This pursuit led to the discovery of key moments in India’s cricket history, moments that had long been overlooked. From India’s first Test victory in 1952 to the debut matches of players like G. R. Vishwanath, B. S. Chandrasekhar, and Sunil Gavaskar, I’ve had the privilege of bringing these stories back to life.
As a commentator, I aim to honor the past while embracing the present. My commentary is shaped by this connection to cricket’s history, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to each match. Whether sharing the drama of a Test match or revisiting the golden eras of the sport, my goal is to make every moment feel meaningful, inviting listeners to experience the beauty of the game.
